ZTE soft-launches LTE-version of its Axon 11

Earlier this year, ZTE launched its midrange Axon 11 5G powered by the Snapdragon 765G. Just this Monday, ZTE also made official the Axon 11 SE 5G, which is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 800 chipset - so both of these support 5G networks. ZTE has just quiet-launched a new variant of the Axon 11, but this time - with no 5G support. The ZTE Axon 11 4G will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 but otherwise keeps the same specs as its other variants. Same quad-cameras and battery size, and it has the same size display. The variances might arrive due to the limitations of the Helio...

DxOMark not impressed with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's selfie camera

Back in February, Samsung's clamshell folding smartphone went on sale. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip gained a lot of attention for its pretty new design, but to achieve its compact size and design, it needed to cut some corners. One of the most notable places where it did this was in the camera department. Although the cameras are not terrible, they rank lower among other premium smartphones. DxOMark released its review of the Galaxy Z Flip's front-facing camera, and they were not impressed. It scored 83 overall, which combined a photo score of 82 and a video score of 86. DxOMark says its...

Some Realme X50t specs leak

A few months after the release of the Realme X50 5G, the company announced the Realme X50m 5G - a slightly different version of the phone with a downgraded camera setup. Now according to a reputable leakster Digital Chat Station, Realme is going to launch a handset that's similar to the X50m 5G and will be called X50t 5G. The launch is in just two days. A bigger battery is one possible explanation, although that wasn't explicitly confirmed. The supported 5G bands...

Poco F2 Pro undergoes durability test, the pop-up selfie camera takes a beating

The Poco F2 Pro has some big shoes to fill - its predecessor, the Poco F1, did excellently in the JerryRigEverything's durability test. The F2 comes with a higher price tag and that of course means that expectations are higher. This video is a good demonstration on the difference in hardness of plastic and glass. Zack forgets to remove the plastic screen protector, which scratched at level 3, while the glass underneath started showing scratches only at level 6. The F2 abandons the wide notch of the original, going for a pop-up selfie camera instead. In the early days we worried that...

The truth as revealed by Francis Wang, CMO of Realme India, is less exciting - it was a design consideration for a new smartphone, but had to be canceled because the company didn't want to make any compromises with the internal design. Yeah, it's beautiful. However, to put the camera flat under this back...
