Watch the Realme X announcement live here

Realme just turned a year old, but it has already made a significant impact releasing a series of aggressively priced phones and taking a big share of the market in some Asian countries. Today the company is going to add the Realme X to its lineup and it might be its most premium phone yet. Based on the Snapdragon 710 of the Realme 3 Pro, the X is expected to get rid of the notch by putting the selfie camera on a motorized elevating mechanism and finally make the switch to a USB-C port. It's also rumored to bring the first OLED screen in the series with a fingerprint scanner tucked...

OnePlus 7 Pro aces scratch and bend test, doesn't get screen damage from an open flame

The OnePlus 7 Pro has only been announced a few short hours ago, but it's already been put through an extensive durability test by Zack from YouTube channel JerryRigEverything. He starts off his trademark stress test with scratches, and like all other phones using Gorilla Glass on the screen the 7 Pro scratches at a level 6 on the Mohs hardness scale, with deeper grooves showing at level 7. Note that the levels refer to the tools used for scratching. Next up, the motorized pop-up selfie camera - it's protected by glass too, which means it won't easily be scratched, although the area...

OnePlus 7 Pro's pop-up selfie camera can hold a 22kg slab of cement without breaking

The OnePlus 7 Pro is the first device from this company to feature a motorized pop-up selfie camera. Naturally, many of you will have concerns about the mechanism's durability, and OnePlus says it should be fine with at least 300,000 'pops' over the lifetime of the phone. But when popped out that camera sure looks fragile? Is it, though? That's what OnePlus' latest publicity stunt... erm, promo video wants to answer. Spoiler alert: this video involves a 49.2lb (22.3kg) slab of cement. So it's not for the faint of heart, for sure. Enjoy: You're probably not ever going to find...

OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is official too, exclusive to EE in the UK

You may already know that OnePlus unveiled new smartphones today - the OnePlus 7 Pro, its new flagship, and the OnePlus 7, a more affordable option for those on a budget. But these in fact weren't the only handsets to make their global debut at the company's grand event. They were joined by the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, because it can't be a smartphone launch event in 2019 without the "5G" buzzword being present, it seems. And Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon on stage saying "5G is here", even though so far that hasn't been true for most places across the world. As the name implies, the OnePlus...

The Honor 20 manages to push out a 3278 single-core score and 9709 in the multi-core department. The phone tested has 6GB of RAM, but we've also heard of an 8GB version. The Geekbench listing reveals that the Honor 20 will run on Android 9.0 with EMUI 9.0 on top, but that's hardly a surprise. Design The design of the Bullets Wireless 2 is very similar to that of the original Bullets Wireless. It's only when you pay closer attention do you notice all the things that have changed. OnePlus 7 Pro jumps onto the DxOMark podium with its triple rear camera

DxOMark teased its upcoming review of the OnePlus 7 Pro's cameras a couple of weeks ago, and today it's gone live. The Chinese company's latest flagship smartphone has made the podium of the DxOMark rankings. Its 111 overall score is just one point shy of what the two devices tied for the lead have accomplished - the Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S10 5G both got 112. As you'd expect from the score being so close, the OnePlus 7 Pro boasts excellent results in almost all photo and video sub-scores of DxOMark. The phone has a wide dynamic range that preserves highlights as well as shadow...

OnePlus 6T remains available, gets a price cut

When the OnePlus 6T was unveiled, the older 6 remained available (still is in some markets), contrasting with the company's previous strategy of discontinuing the old model as soon as a new one comes out. Now the 6T itself is getting the same treatment. Starting on May 17, OnePlus will reduce the price of the 6T by $30. Note that the base 6/128GB model is getting killed off, which will make the 8/128GB version the new cheapest option. OnePlus 6T Old Price New Price 6/128GB $550 (discontinued) 8/128GB $580 $550 ...

With the Pro model, OnePlus is trying to beat its competitors on features. The OnePlus 7 is the phone for those who liked the value-for-money side of the company. The phone is a mix between the OnePlus 6T and 7 Pro. It keeps the flat 6.41" Optic AMOLED display with 1080p+ resolution and a teardrop notch. However, it does get Pro's faster in-display fingerprint reader. And its chipset too, the Snapdragon 855 beast.
