Apple's WWDC 2017 keynote is already under way and it promised to deliver 6 major announcements today. Now the first of those isn't exactly a game-changer, but it's certainly good news for anyone that owns Apple TV. Amazon's Prime video service is finally coming tvOS. We didn't get a specific timeframe for the debut of the service - all Apple said is it's coming later this year. Motorola has started testing out a new update to the Moto Z Play. The update brings Android OS version 7.1.1 and some other changes, such as a fix for the video calling app Duo and the latest security patch. Dubbed LG X500, the selling point of the device is its large 4,500mAh battery, which the company says would allow you to play videos for 20 hours continuously without charging. Apple takes 83% of global mobile profits in Q1, Samsung with 12.9%
Of the combined operating profit posted by global smartphone players in the first quarter of the ongoing year, Apple's share stood at 83.4%, according to a new report published by market research firm Strategy Analytics. That's up from the 79.8% figure that was reported for the Cupertino-based company during the same period last year. Samsung, on the other hand, took home 12.9%.
