Amazon has announced that its voice and video calling service from Echo devices is coming to tablets. This includes Apple iPads, Android tablets and Amazon Fire tablets. It took a bit longer than expected - the Huawei Honor View 10 was supposed to launch in the US in early January. Asus Zenfone 5 Max flaunts Snapdragon 660 on Geekbench

Asus announced the Zenfone 5 series back at the Mobile World Congress - the range topping Zenfone 5z, the middle ground Zenfone 5 and the midrange Zenfone 5 Lite but there was no mention of a Zenfone 5 Max. The Samsung Galaxy J8 is back at Geekbench, but this time with a different chipset. A couple of weeks ago we saw it with an Exynos 7870 chipset at its heart (that was the SM-J800FN version), now there's a Snapdragon 625 there (this is the SM-J805G version). Samsung aims to ship 43 million Galaxy S9 and S9+ units this year

Samsung has reaffirmed its belief that the Galaxy S9 duo will outperform the S8 phones by announcing its plans to ship 43 million units this year - that's for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ combined. Korean publication The Bell reports that Samsung has given this target to its component suppliers. For the first quarter, Samsung expects 12 million units to leave the factories, then 13 million, then 10 million and finally, 8 million in the last three months of 2018.
