A mysterious HTC device has just popped up on Geekbench's website with a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB of RAM and running Android 8.0.0 Oreo. Google confirms Android 8.1 Oreo arriving in coming weeks
Yesterday, Google revealed details about Pixel Visual Core, a little system-on-chip (SoC) included in the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL to speed up image processing. As part of those details, the company confirmed the Android 8.1 Oreo update - specifically, the developer preview (MR1) - will be rolled out "in the coming weeks."
