After a month of teasing and a ton of leaks the OnePlus 5T finally made its official debut this week. The first 18:9 smartphone by the young company comes with a new take on the dual camera where the second module focuses on portraits and low-light rather than zoom. vivo also introduced a new phone this week. The v7 is a slightly smaller version of the popular v7+ with a lower price tag and half the internal storage. Otherwise the two models are identical down to the impressive 24MP selfie camera and 14nm Snapdragon 450 chipset. As the last major announcements of the year are behind...

Top 10 trending phones of week 46
It was an eventful week in our Top 10 popularity chart, but the Oppo F5 still managed to weather the storm and come on top, extending its streak to 4 weeks. There was plenty of movement below it, though. The Motorola Moto X4 kept climbing and got the silver medal, ahead of the newly launched OnePlus 5T. Weekly poll: OnePlus 5T, did it live up to your expectations?

You don't get a higher pixel...

Unfortunately, those used a proprietary COM port to connect to the phone (as did many phones later on). The familiar 3.5mm audio jack didn't arrive on the scene until 2005 and it wasn't alone. We picked the Top 50 phones (by user interest) for each year and counted the number of audio connectors. Between 2007 and 2009 there was a brief challenge by the smaller 2.5mm jack, but that fizzled out...
