Google Wifi now available in France and Germany

The Google Wifi mesh router is now available for purchase in two new markets: France and Germany. The company's online store in both countries has the device listed for €139. The two-pack and three-pack will set you back €249 and €359, respectively. The device was unveiled by the Mountain View, California-based company back in October last year. While the Honor 9 has already been announced for China, the announcement has been covered for the Chinese market, though that still leaves us up in the air about world-wide availability of the Honor device. OnePlus 5 now available in India

Less than a week after it was officially announced for the country, the OnePlus 5 is now available for purchase in India. Amazon has the 6GB/64GB version listed for INR 32,999 ($510), while the 8GB/128GB model will set you back INR 37,999 ($590). Several launch day offers are there as well: The phone, for what it's worth, has already started receiving its first update which doesn't bring along any major features, but does include a couple of bug fixes as well as several optimization-related changes. Google Home goes on sale in Canada

As scheduled, Google's voice-activated smart speaker Home is now available for purchase in Canada. The device can be purchased from the Mountain View, California-based company's online store as well as several other outlets. Third-party retailers that are selling the speaker in the country include Bell, Best Buy, Fido, Indigo, London Drugs, Rogers, Staples, The Source, Telus, Visions, and Walmart. Essential PH-1 makes it through the FCC, might be water resistant

We haven't heard anything from Essential since the company announced the PH-1 and then took pre-sale reservations. Andy Rubin has previously said that it was not going to ask for reservations if the phone wasn't going to be available soon thereafter. Apple has released the first Public beta of iOS 11 to users. Unlike the Developer beta, the Public beta does not require a developer account and anyone with an Apple ID can download it. Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus specs and prices detailed in new leak

Meizu's Pro 7 has so far been rumored to become official at an event on July 26, and according to a new leak out of China it will be joined on stage by the bigger, higher-end Pro 7 Plus. Nokia 6 comes to the United States in early July

Nokia 6 is coming to the US market, HMD Global announced today. The phone will be available in early July on Amazon. The Nokia 6 will initially be sold in Matte Black and Silver color options with a price tag of $229. HMD's current star will also be available in Tempered Blue and Copper "later this summer". Samsung is second largest in wearable market, behind Apple

Samsung became the second largest player in the smart wearables space in the first quarter of 2017. The information comes from Strategy Analytics' data for global sales in Q1. Samsung captured 12.8% and managed to overtake Fitbit's 12.1% due to solid performance by the Gear S3 Tizen smartwatch. Rose Pink Galaxy S8+ announced in Taiwan

Samsung just announced a Rose Pink Galaxy S8+ in Taiwan. Aside from the new color the rest of the hardware is identical to the regular (read 4GB of RAM) Galaxy S8+. So far the new color looks to be a Galaxy S8+ exclusive in Taiwan but we're pretty sure that the smaller Galaxy S8 will get the new color, and we expect the color to become globally available as well. Samsung sells over 1.3M Galaxy S8 units in Korea alone

Samsung announced the sales of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ surpassed the 1.3 million mark in South Korea. The number amounts for around 12,000 new phones every day, smashing the company's previous records. The Galaxy S8 sold 1 million phones in 37 days. Nokia 3310 gets the teardown treatment

Several days ago we saw a durability test of the Nokia 3310 (2017). A follow-up with a teardown of the featurephone reveals that the device can be disassembled in seconds. Xiaomi Mi 6 to be available outside China starting today

Officially unveiled back in April this year, the Xiaomi Mi 6 has only been available in China so far. Well, that changes now, as the device will also be available in Hong Kong starting today. The Taiwan launch is set for tomorrow. The Mi Max 2, which was unveiled last month and is already available in a few markets, will also land in these countries in the same order - Hong Kong today, Taiwan tomorrow. The launch date for the Oppo R11 Plus has been revealed. The device will go on sale later this week - June 30 - with China being the first market to get it.
