Next biggest was Wii.— Nick Wingfield (@nickwingfield) March 6, 2017 Considering the limited number of launch...

Apple Pay is currently supported in 13 countries with support launching in Spain this past December. Apple Pay was also recently surveyed as the United States' most...

Galaxy S8 leaks in a really short and low-res hands-on video

As is customary for many devices, a conveniently short and low-res video has appeared on YouTube. The video shows a Samsung Galaxy S8 in the flesh, despite the sticker that explicitly says the device is confidential and not to be photographed. The video shows a black unit, complete with the "Galaxy S8" branding on its backside. Even though it's hard to see finer details of a black device, we can clearly make out the placement of the fingerprint scanner, next to the rear-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S8+ in simultaneous launch events...

Check out the ad below. Take great pictures. #Exynos8895 with #DualISP for #DualCamera. http://pic.twitter.com/hPcyueGOZs— Samsung Exynos (@SamsungExynos) March 6, 2017 The image contains a generic placeholder for a Galaxy smartphone with dual cameras. Huawei P10 vs LG G6 dual camera shootout: Sightseeing in Barcelona

We're saying goodbye to yet another Mobile World Congress, but we have a few days left to hang around the beautiful city of Barcelona. Filled with Gaudi's masterpieces and amazing architecture in general, it would serve as an excellent arena for camera shootouts and we just couldn't miss this opportunity. We left the MWC with two great flagship devices each with a dual camera setup of its own - the LG G6 and the Huawei P10 - and we've decided to put them to a real-life test in the streets of Barcelona.

Samsung Galaxy S8 to be released on April 28, a week later than initially planned

The rate at which new rumors and leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 are popping up nowadays can make it hard to keep up with all the details. One thing that's remained steady in most mumblings we've heard so far has been the purported release date for the two handsets - April 21. We've had no reason to doubt this since the unveiling is actually happening on March 29 as has been rumored before that date became official. And the same sources that had shared that also talked about the April 21 in-store launch. Now though one of those sources is back with an updated release date for...

Today we understood why - the company introduced the new Fitbit Alta HR which adds a heart-rate monitor. Sleep Duration • Sleep Stages • Exercise Summary • Resting Heart Rate The fitness company threw in doubt investors and fans after it announced terrible financial results for Q4 2016 but apparently had something up the sleeve - the new Fitbit Alta HR. It is still stylish like its predecessor Fitbit Alta, but now has a heart-rate monitor...

The LG G6 has over 40,000 pre-orders in Korea

The LG G6 is yet to officially hit stores, but interest is already high. The rounded-display smartphone has been available for pre-order in its home market, since last Thursday (March 2) and interest looks nicely high. The company boasts over 40,000 units, already pre-ordered. This figure trumps most initial sales predictions and there are at least a few factors that could have contributed to this. For one, LG's plan to move its launch ahead of Samsung's Galaxy S8 pair seems to be working great. Not only should initial units start going out to their eager owners in South Korea, as early as...

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 to have even thinner bezels and an AMOLED display

Xiaomi Mi Mix is a fantastic device that reimagines the modern smartphone design. It has an astounding 83% screen-to-body ratio, but we hear its successor will do even better with an AMOLED display. Xiaomi introduced the Mi Mix last year with almost bezel-free front panel. According to Lei Jun, Xiaomi founder and CEO, said the company aims for truly bezel-less phone with the upcoming new version of Mi Mix. According to the source, Xiaomi will opt for AMOLED and curve the sides of the new Mi Mix to maximize the usable screen area. There will be a slight black bezel on the bottom...

Verizon was trailing behind, but it's finally catching up - you can snatch Google's latest right away. The official update follows a Galaxy Beta Program which let users try out the new version of the OS themselves on their Galaxy smartphone. Verizon dropped out after a month leaving its users in a dilemma - either stay in beta or get back to Marshmallow. Verizon's updates are pretty much the same as others': It has the latest Android security patch from February 1, 2017;...

Samsung Galaxy S8 impresses partners after a brief demo

You probably saw some of the live shots of the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S8 we reported earlier today or the previous week or the week before that. Some Samsung partners were luckier than us though and get to handle the real thing rather than relying solely on leaks. They saw the device in a demonstration room in a Barcelona hotel and commented that it is "very impressive." During the Mobile World Congress in the Spanish city, Samsung had a Galaxy S8 prototype for partners to check out and according to Korean news outlet The Korea Herald everyone was very pleased with what they saw....

6GB of RAM is too much, Huawei P-series COO says

Huawei has a long-standing history of refusing to engage in specs wars - a couple of years ago company CEO Richard Yu was quoted saying that QHD resolution is overkill on a 6-inch device. We know now that he's surrendered to market trends and Huawei does offer a number of QHD smartphones with even smaller diagonals. Now it's ever increasing RAM that the company is waging a war against, or rather defending 4GB as the sweet spot in terms of price/performance ratio. P-series chief executive Lao Shi has taken to Weibo to point out that Huawei smartphones are performing smoothly with 4GB of RAM...

Oppo F3 and F3 Plus ads spotted in the Philippines

Oppo didn't announce an actual handset at the MWC, showcasing an interesting 5x zoom camera instead. You can read more about it in our hands-on review, however, it is still some way away from appearing on an actual product. In the meantime, Oppo is continuing on its other endeavors, including the "selfie expert" F series of smartphones. It appears an F3 and F3 Plus pair or devices is already in the works, as evident from a pair of ads, recently spotted in the Philippines. This is a welcome sight, since the company can't keep refreshing last year's F1s with new paint jobs...

New shots of the Samsung Galaxy S8

With MWC 2017 now officially over and only a small teaser for the Galaxy S8 pair to note from the venue on the wait is still on. However, there is no shortage of leaks on the upcoming flagship duo. Now, there is a fresh new batch of stills to add to the mix, really crystal-clear ones, at that. It is hard to say with certainty whether this is the 5.8-inch regular Galaxy S8 or its slightly bigger S8+ sibling. Regardless, the difference between the two seems to be a mere matter of scaling, as far as we currently know. This makes the design details, revealed by the photos applicable to...

The Huawei P10 is already up for pre-order in Spain

The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus were star attractions at this year's MWC and the Chinese manufacturer is wasting no time to release the new device family. We already heard that the P10 will be available across all major UK carriers soon and the subtle leak, suggesting a P10 Lite version is on its way as well. Now we start to see the P10 pre-order pop up in stores. We spotted the handset ourselves, while in Barcelona. It even comes with a special deal - if you reserve yours before March 15, you also get a free Huawei Watch 2. Now, that is a good deal, if we ever saw one. The...
