Waze now lets users record directions in their own voice
Community-based traffic and navigation app Waze has received a new update. The update brings only one major feature: the Waze voice recorder. Yes, now you can record your own voice directions. "In your Waze settings, tap Sound & voice to access Voice recorder, and get your kids and friends to record a favorite voice style," the change-log for the update explains. Qualcomm has announced two additions to its range of mobile processors, the Snapdragon 660 and the Snapdragon 630. These will be succeeding the Snapdragon 653 and the Snapdragon 626, respectively. The Snapdragon 660 is based on 14nm technology and has 8x Kryo 260 CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz, and is the first 600-series Snapdragon SoC to have Kryo CPU. Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ on Telus getting red tint fixing update
Telus has started pushing out a new update to Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ units on its network. The update brings along the fix for the red-tint issue, as well as a couple of other bug fixes. There's currently no information on which other Canadian carriers (if any) are rolling out the update. The red-tint fixing update first arrived in the tech giant's home country of South Korea, something which happened late last month. Juts a few days after the Oppo R11 showed up in a TV commercial, the device has again leaked, this time in renders. Although a bit hazy, the leaked images confirm things we already know: dual rear camera setup, and pink and gold color options. The handset is rumored to be powered by an octa-core 2.2GHz processor and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display. RAM is 4GB, while internal memory is 64GB.
