You can see the A92s packs a punch hole display, which according to TENAA measures 6.57" diagonally, has 2400x1080 pixel resolution, and is rumored to have 120Hz refresh rate or touch sampling rate. On the back, you get four cameras housed inside a rectangular cutout with LED flash in a unique style. Huawei nova 7 series launch date confirmed

Huawei was rumored to expand the nova 7 lineup with the nova 7, nova 7 SE and nova 7 Pro on April 23 and now the company took it to Weibo to confirm announcement. Huawei's Weibo post also includes a poster having a silhouette of a smartphone with a rectangular camera bump on the back, but it's unclear whether this is the vanilla nova 7, SE or the Pro version. Huawei hasn't revealed any details of the nova 7 trio yet, but from previous leaks, we know the regular nova 7, nova 7 SE and nova 7 Pro will be powered by the Kirin 985, 820 and 990 5G, respectively. A leaked image also...

Apple kills the iPhone 8, stops selling the iPhone 8 Plus

Now that the 2020 iPhone SE is official, Apple has decided to kill the iPhone 8. First of all, yes, the company was still selling the iPhone 8, all the way up until today. Second, this makes sense when you think about it, as the iPhone SE is basically just an iPhone 8 with the latest A13 chipset and better camera software. And slightly differing color options. It's also cheaper than the iPhone 8 used to be, so there's really no point in these two competing against each other in the company's roster. Apple has also stopped selling the iPhone 8 Plus, but the situation is a bit more...

vivo NEX 3 5G finally receives Android 10 update

Today vivo started rolling out the update to Android 10 for the NEX 3 5G. A closed beta testing phase that accepted only a few units started about one month ago, and it seems like the testing went smoothly, as now we're treated to the finalized release. The NEX 3S 5G launched with Android 10 on board recently, and as this is just a NEX 3 with the Snapdragon 865 chipset and a new color version, it stands to reason that vivo didn't have to do a lot of software tweaking for this rollout. vivo NEX 3 5G running Android 10 with Funtouch 10 Of course it's nothing close to 'vanilla'...

Honor 30's Kirin 985 chipset gets benchmarked, scores slightly better than the Kirin 820

Today Huawei's sub-brand Honor took the wraps off of the 30 series - comprised of the eponymous Honor 30, but also the 30 Pro and 30 Pro+. The Honor 30 is powered by the brand new Kirin 985 chipset, which hasn't been featured on any other devices before - unlike the Kirin 990 5G that's in the Honor 30 Pro and Pro+. Given its name, you'd expect its performance to be incredibly close to that of the Kirin 990, but it unfortunately looks like that's not the case. In fact, it's closer to the 980, but doesn't even match that. The Kirin 985 seems to be somewhere in between the Kirin 820 and the...

Nokia 8 Sirocco receiving Android 10 update with April security patch

This is our first look at MIUI 12

Xiaomi may have leaked the first images of MIUI 12 through the beta version of the MiSettings app. Xiaomi releases beta versions of its apps to its MIUI Community forums and the latest version of the MiSettings APK, which was released a few days ago, featured a revamped user interface. A keen-eyed XDA-Developers forum member noticed this and collected a few screenshots. Xiaomi has since pulled the APK down, lending credibility to the fact that these are early stills from MIUI 12. Below are a few side by side images of the current and the leaked UI of the MiSettings app. The biggest...

Some Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra units plagued by a green screen tint

The Galaxy S20 Ultra has been doing very well, surprising even Samsung. It's understandable though, as it's truly great device. Yet now a new bug has discovered, somewhat spoiling the honeymoon for those that got the Exynos 990 version. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra green tint issue A green tint appeared on the display under specific conditions, and judging by the timing was caused by the latest OTA update. The good news is that a restart fixes it, but the bad news is that it can reappear. Disgruntled users on Samsung support threads are still trying to pinpoint exactly what...

The Magic Keyboard can be yours for $299 if you have the 11-inch iPad Pro, or $349 if you're buying for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Motorola will unveil the Edge and Edge+ next Wednesday, and we finally got to see the vanilla variant in real life. A photo of the Moto Edge appeared on Twitter, revealing a three-cam setup on the back (the fourth hole is reserved for laser AF). Right on the side of the vertically aligned shooters, there is a sign, saying "64 MP | 16 MP + 8 MP AI camera". This is the first time we see the Motorola Edge from the back in a live photo, seeing its glorious red color and a glass panel. The Moto logo appears to be just an image and not a fingerprint scanner, so the sensor is likely going on...

Hisense F50 5G arrives with a new 5G chipset

Hisense may not be a household smartphone brand, but the company does know how to grab attention with things like 10,000mAh batteries and color e-Ink on phones. The latest model is interesting for another reason - it's powered by a 5G chipset from a new vendor. You don't hear that every day, even Intel was unable to keep up with the complexities of developing 5G hardware. The Hisense F50 5G was teased on Weibo today and will be officially unveiled on April 20. This isn't a premium phone, instead it's part of the effort to make 5G affordable. The handset uses a pretty standard back-mounted...

Samsung achieves record-breaking 5G mmWave speeds

5G definitely takes the crown for current tech buzz-word and Samsung Networks is keen to be on the cutting edge. It has now successfully pulled-off new record-breaking speeds in its tests. It had two client devices receiving 4.3 Gbps of peak data speeds, for a total of 8.5 Gbps, simultaneously, from a single Samsung 5G mmWave Access Unit. The feat was naturally achieved by using high-frequency mmWave tech, where such insane speeds are attainable, albeit in controlled conditions. Samsung used MU-MIMO techniques on the 800MHz mmWave spectrum, as well as carrier aggregation. Once...

The OnePlus 8 Pro packs Nokia OZO microphone tech

The Nokia OZO brand is hardly too popular, at least since Nokia shut down work on the eye-catching VR 360-degree camera. Still, OZO Audio is alive and well and periodically when Nokia strikes a technology licensing deal and OnePlus is the latest party in such an agreement. The flagship OnePlus 8 Pro has a triple-microphone array, powered by Nokia OZO. The Lite version also skips the in-display fingerprint scanner present on the vanilla Tab S6. On the inside, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has an octa-core processor with a maximum clock frequency of 2.3GHz. Samsung doesn't mention the chipset,...

Nokia 9.3 PureView to have 120Hz refresh rate screen, 108MP main camera

The latest rumor regarding the Nokia 9.3 PureView suggests it will hop onto the high refresh rate bandwagon with a 120Hz screen. It's unclear whether it will be an LCD or OLED, but given rumors of an under-display selfie camera, and the Nokia 9 heritage, it will likely be an OLED panel. According to rumors the Nokia 9.3 PureView will also likely ditch the simultaneously-firing cameras for a conventional setup, highlighted by a 108MP Samsung-made main camera and possibly at least another 64MP camera (perhaps as a zoom?). Reports suggest HMD has experimented with 24MP, 20MP and 48MP...

The Chinese certifying authority's website reveals the M091Q will support 40W charging, which is 10W faster than the vanilla Meizu 17, clearly pointing to a more premium version. Besides, 3C reveals M091Q will support 5G networks. The Meizu 17 Pro was expected to charge at up to 65W, drawing power through a GaN charger. But it...
