We already have a hands-on video and an actual hands-on review, but this time we get to spend more quality time with the Huawei Mate Xs putting it through our full review process. The last few days of April brought several new phones, most of them coming from one company - Xiaomi. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth was revealed in China with a periscope camera and 5x optical zoom, making it the first device by the company with the feature. Later through a Qualcomm press message, we learned its name will actually be Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Zoom on the global scene. Alongside it, the company unveiled MIUI 12, which will power most of the...

Top 10 trending phones of week 18

Xiaomi announced the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro (initially launched under the name Redmi Note 9 Pro Max) and the phone was so captivating, it immediately jumped in the top spot of our weekly trending list. Then we have the Huawei nova 7 Pro 5G - a leader last week, but still capturing your attention this one. Two more Xiaomi phones are following - the Redmi Note 9S and its predecessor Redmi Note 8 Pro. Flashback: Android Gingerbread, the OS version that refused to die, was better than you think

Before it became the zombie OS version that just wouldn't die, Android 2.3 Gingerbread was a big deal - it brought so many things that we take for granted today, it put a new coat of paint on the UI and made the whole system more efficient. Introduced at the end of 2010, Gingerbread would grow quickly, becoming the most popular Android version less than a year later and claiming 50% market share in December of 2011. Google stopped updating the OS distribution charts last year, but there's evidence that v2.3 still roams the dark corridors and rattles chains to scare developers that want to...

Weekly poll: does the Mi Note 10 Lite have a place in Xiaomi's lineup?

Allow us to be your tour guide, showing you around the family tree of Xiaomi phones. We joke, but the product lineup has gotten quite busy with the unveiling of a "lite" version of the Mi Note 10 phones while at the same time two Redmi Note 9 phones go global. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is essentially a cheaper version of the previous two Mi Note 10 models. You get the same 6.47" OLED display with curved sides, same Snapdragon 730G chipset, same 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast charge and so on. The camera is the main difference. The 108MP Samsung sensor is gone, replaced by the 64MP...
