T-Mobile launches 5G network on June 28 with the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G

T-Mobile is finally ready to throw its hat into the 5G ring. The magenta carrier will launch its 5G network on June 28, in parts of six urban areas: Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York. If you live in any of those places, check out TMo's coverage maps - it made one for each city. Don't expect a lot at this point, it uses mmWave technology which requires a lot of 'towers' for coverage. If you're lucky enough to spend your time in an area that will get coverage from the get-go, perhaps you'd like a 5G smartphone to take advantage of the new network....

Samsung Galaxy A90 is coming with Snapdragon 855, 5G, "tilt OIS"

Last week a report claimed the phone that has been leaked so far as Galaxy A90 would actually end up being part of an all-new Galaxy R series of devices. And now it turns out that this stemmed from a misunderstanding, basically some sources confused marketing names with internal codenames. So the Galaxy A90 is real after all. It's in development, and coming (hopefully) soon. Alongside that clarification, we have thankfully also received more information about the A90. Galaxy A80 There will be two models. The SM-A905 will be the 4G version, with a 6.7-inch screen, an in-display...

As of now, we don't know what portion of the devices are affected and if there's a way to get around the issue but our recommendation is to avoid it altogether until Xiaomi addresses the issue. It's been around four days since the first incident occurred and was reported on Xiaomi's community forum. The firmware in question is the MIUI 10.3.1.0 to EEA - an update for the European market. The MediaTek Helio P65's CPU features two Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores. For comparison, the Helio P60/P70 used four A73 and four A53 (older generation, but a different proportion of big/little cores). According to ARM, the A75 is on average 22% faster than an A73. iPhone XI cases show a Lightning port, offer another look at the square camera hump

There were rumors that the iPhone XI models will follow the iPad Pros and drop Lightning in favor of a USB-C connector. Renders of Olixar cases posted by MobileFun pour cold water on our hopes, however. The case shows only a small hole at the bottom, not big enough to fit the larger USB-C plug. Apple's 2019 iPad models also use Lightning, so it's clear that Cupertino isn't ready to make the switch yet. A prominent feature on the case is the square cutout for the camera hump - it's not the prettiest design. If you were hoping that this rumor was also false, it's time to start...
