vivo iQOO Neo 855 is official, brings 33W fast-charging

The Chinese smartphone company vivo announced the iQOO series as its gaming lineup. First, it was the iQOO with Snapdragon 855 chipset that eventually got updated to Snapdragon 855+ with a new name - iQOO Pro. There was a more affordable variant called iQOO Neo with a Snapdragon 845, and this device has also been renewed - it is now official under the name vivo iQOO Neo 855. The name obviously reveals the upgrade is the chipset - it is the Snapdragon 855 platform by Qualcomm. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is getting a taste of Android 10 through the new MIUI 11 beta that has just been released. Chinese Mi Mix 3 owners are allowed to install the MIUI 11 9.10.23 beta software based on Android 10 - a 2.3GB download. If it all goes smoothly, the Xiaomi will push the update to a broader audience. Oppo Reno S rumored to have a 64MP camera and support for 65W charging

The Reno Ace is yet to launch in India, but rumor has it that Oppo has an even more premium flagship in the works - the Oppo Reno S. Like the Ace, it's set to use the new 65W Super VOOC 2.0 fast charging tech. However, the main camera on the back will upgrade to a 64MP sensor, up from 48MP. There's no word on what will happen to the other cams (on the Ace, there's 13MP tele + 8MP ultrawide cameras on the back, plus a 16MP selfie camera in a notch). Google Camera 7.2 brings back H.265 video support

Just wfter the official market release of the Pixel 4 duo, Google is updating its default camera app to version 7.2. The major highlight here is that it brings back support for H.265 video recording. As some of you may know, the H.265/HEVC codec is more efficient than the standard H.264/AVC so it might come in handy if you've ordered the 64GB version of the Pixel 4 or 4 XL. Google promises update to enable 90Hz on Pixel 4 in "more brightness conditions"

Fans quickly discovered that one of the best features on the Pixel 4 and 4 XL - the 90Hz mode for the screen - only works when the brightness is at 75% or higher. Samsung's Android 10 beta for the S10 series expands to India, Poland and France

Samsung has been seeding its Android 10 beta with One UI 2 for a while now and the latest countries to join in are India, Poland, and France. Those who've registered for beta testing through the Samsung Members app will be able to receive the update over the air. The Indian version, in particular, comes with the G975FXXU3ZSJF build number and weighs in at just over 1.9 GB. Interestingly enough the update comes with the November security patch.
