HTC revenue keeps falling: June numbers 67% down compared to 2017

HTC posted yet another disappointing monthly result. In June it made an unconsolidated revenue of NT$2.23m (€62m) which is a 67% slump compared to June 2017 when it posted NT$6.89 (€192m). LG's Q2 of 2018 misses estimates but is still profitable

LG posted a profitable Q2 despite missing the estimates of analysts. In the period from April to June LG has made a profit of KRW 771 billion (€589 million) and turned in a revenue of KRW 15 trillion (€11.4 billion). Operating profit rose 16.1% from the same period last year while revenue rose 3.2% from KRW 14.6 trillion to the aforementioned KRW 15 trillion. Samsung Q2 earnings guidance shows slowing smartphone business

Samsung smashed records for operating profit seven quarters in a row, but the streak is done, according to the company guidance. The Korean giant just announced its earnings guidance for Q2 2018 - consolidated sales are expected to be approximately KRW58 trillion ($52 billion), while the consolidated operating profit should be around KRW14.8 trillion ($13.25 billion).
