Android 7.1.1 for Nexus 6 rolling out again
If you remember, back in March, Google pushed a downgrade OTA to Android 7.1.1-powered Nexus 6 units (forcing them back on to version 7.0.) following reports that the March update broke Android Pay. Now, several months after that, the device has started receiving the update again. Apple is expected to launch its smart home speaker HomePod this holiday season in the US, the UK, and Australia, but it will likely be in low supply initially. Canalys: Huawei overtakes Apple in CEE in Q2 2017
Canalys posted its report on the smartphone shipments in Central and Eastern Europe in Q2. Between April and June 15.6 million units were shipped, with Samsung snatching a third of the market. The XZs was a stopgap measure, the Xperia XZ1 is Sony's actual next-gen maistream flagship.
