Jolla has announced that it now supports Sony's Open Devices Program. This means that the company will be releasing its Sailfish OS for a range of Sony's Xperia branded devices. The announcement was made by Jolla in a press release where-in the company also revealed that the first project under this partnership is Sailfish OS-powered Xperia X, which is being showcased at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Nougat-powered Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ gets WiFi certified
Seems like the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is all set to get the Nougat update soon as an Android 7.0-powered model has been granted WiFi certification by the WiFi Alliance (WFA). Samsung Turkey last week shared a detailed Nougat release roadmap revealing that the Galaxy S6 edge+ will get the update around mid-March.
