Samsung isn't giving up on its court battle with Apple, even after a federal court jury ruled it should pay $539M in damages for infringing patents. Counterpoint: Samsung shipped the most smartphones in Q1 of 2018

According to data from analytics firm Counterpoint, Samsung is the global leader in both smartphone and phone shipments for Q1 of 2018.
