Nokia 6 gets tortured on video, undergoes scratch, burn, and bend testing
Forget about questions such as "when's it finally going to be available in Western markets?". The most important thing one can ask about the Nokia 6 is "how easily does it scratch?". Or "how does it handle open flames?". And of course, the classic "will it bend?". All of these things are revealed in the video embedded below. But do note that viewer discretion is advised - this program has loads of graphic violence. In fact, it's almost fully a torture scene from beginning to end, so if you're sensitive to watching smartphones being put through such ordeals, this may not be for you....
Fossil's smartwatches are getting Android Wear 2.0 tomorrow
Remember when Fossil said its smartwatches would be updated to Android Wear 2.0 in "mid-March"? Well, it's very rare that when a company outs such a reasonably vague release time frame it then actually commences the rollout on the exact day that constitutes what its timeline implies. But Fossil's doing it. So - "mid-March"? That's March 15, no? Yes. And that's when you should expect your Fossil smartwatch to receive the coveted Android Wear 2.0 update. That is, if it's part of the company's second generation of wearables. Otherwise, you may have already received an update notification,...

The payment will be shown as if it's an attachment in your email. You can use almost the exact same steps to request money, though you obviously need to pick...
Nokia 7 and Nokia 8 rumored to sport Snapdragon 660, new metal unibody design
While we wait for Nokia to announce its flagship Android smartphone, a new rumor has popped up talking about another two upcoming devices from the Finnish company that's behind the brand. For now we'll call these Nokia 7 and Nokia 8, but apparently the retail names aren't finalized, so they could end up with different monikers. Also keep in mind that the Nokia 8 has long been rumored to be that much-anticipated top of the line handset. If the following pans out, though, then perhaps the Snapdragon 835-powered phone will actually be called Nokia 9. The Nokia 8 and Nokia 7 are both said to...
LG G6 officially arrives in Canada on April 7, pre-orders start tomorrow
LG's Canadian arm has announced the official release date for its latest flagship smartphone in the country today. And, unsurprisingly, it's April 7. If you're in Canada and crave the G6, you'll be happy to know that it will be offered by no less than ten carries, namely Bell, Eastlink, Fido, Freedom Mobile, Koodo Mobile, Rogers, SaskTel, Telus, Videotron, and Virgin Mobile. LeEco Le X850 with Snapdragon 821 and dual rear cameras launches on April 11, rumor says
Usually when China's TENAA certifies a phone for sale, you can expect that device's official announcement to come within days or, at most, a few weeks. That, however, isn't what happened to the LeEco Le X850. This handset went through the TENAA procedures at the beginning of November last year, but it still isn't official. That may change soon, because a new rumor from China has now given us a release date for the X850 to look forward to: April 11. This is allegedly when, if you're in China, you'll be able to pick one up in black, white, gold, or gray. The Le X850 could act as a...
Samsung outs the Galaxy S8's unique selling points through registration page
Samsung's Galaxy S8 is leaking left and right these days, and now it looks like the company itself wants to get involved in the game too. While it hasn't outright leaked something about the S8, Samsung's website for the Philippines does imply what the phone's unique selling points will be - and probably what most of the company's marketing dollars will be spent highlighting. If you want to register your interest for "the next Galaxy" at Samsung Philippines, you're met with the usual fields in which to enter your name, email, and phone number, but then there's also this: Sure,...
