The Galaxy S20 Ultra records awesome low-light video, here's a sampler

Our Galaxy S20 Ultra review has been up for a few days, but we're continually discovering new things about the phone and its camera prowess. The latest addition to the list of things that are easier to slip under most radars is low-light video recording. Motivated by our quest to find areas where the Ultra is better than the Note10s in hopes of justifying the new phone's price tag, we figured the big-sensor advantage across all cams must give it an edge at night. And let's just say from the get-go - the Ultra's low-light footage is mightily impressive. As a warm-up before the...

GSMArena labs: Introducing our new smartphone speaker test

If you've been following our reviews, you may have noticed that we haven't posted any audio tests recently. The reason for that is we've been working hard behind the scenes to deliver a new test of audio quality that would be more useful for those looking for their next smartphone. We'll take this opportunity to detail the changes we made and our motivation behind them. Why we are discontinuing the old loudspeaker and wired audio output tests The two tests were designed in 2007, which was ages ago in smartphone terms. Back then, the goal of the loudspeaker test was to gauge how loud...
