Redmi K20 series passes 4.5 million shipments

With the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, announced in May, Xiaomi wanted to renew the 'flagship killer' space in the smartphone world, as it was getting stale before that. And the Chinese company definitely achieved its goal, with the two models (especially the Pro) being the talk of the town for many months after their launch. Now a few months later, the Redmi K30 and K30 5G have gone official (and we assume a K30 Pro is in the works too), and so it was time for Xiaomi to announce how well the K20 family has performed so far. It turns out that more than 4.5 million units were shipped since...

Exclusive: Realme Buds Air confirmed to have wireless charging

A very reliable source came to us with some insight around Realme's upcoming Buds Air - direct competitors to Apple's AirPods, Samsung's Galaxy Buds and Huawei's FreeBuds 3. Most of it was already known but it's good to get a confirmation from someone familiar with the product itself. First off, the buds will indeed support wireless charging out of the box so you don't have to buy an additional case that supports wireless charging like Apple's AirPods do. Also, judging by leaked render, the black color variant is confirmed. Regarding price and availability, our source said that the...

There's a laundry list of them, which we can't all mention here, but you can find some of them being mentioned in the update log in the screenshots below. iOS 13.3 change log Apart from those, the update also brings additional options for...

Under-screen cameras are almost upon us as a couple of manufacturers have already revealed that they are working on perfecting the technology so it's ready for the end-user. Today at Oppo's Inno Day 2019, the Chinese manufacturer showcased one of its prototypes that looks pretty close to an actual phone ready for mass production. Interestingly, Oppo's prototype isn't relying only on its front-facing camera novelty - it has a seamless, button-less design with no ports and camera bumps as well. The screen has a big curvature but not as extreme as vivo's NEX 3 or Huawei's Mate 30 Pro...

Saying goodbye to Windows 10 Mobile: Microsoft ends support for its mobile OS

Windows on mobile is dead. Again. Today ends the support for all Windows 10 Mobile products, meaning there will be no new security updates, no non-security hotfixes and no free support. It's not all over, though, the Office apps for Windows 10 Mobile phones will continue to be supported until January 12, 2021. This means that Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote will continue receiving updates and security patches. Microsoft still recommends that you move to an Android or iOS device, however, and use the Office apps for those platforms. Before we close this chapter of mobile OS...

And that makes three - HMD has started rolling out the Android 10 update for the Nokia 7.1, after the 8.1 and 9 PureView models got theirs. As usual it's a staged rollout, but some people have already received it and posted a screenshot in the Nokia community forums. The update (V4.08B) is about 1.3GB in size, so it's best to wait until you're at home so you can download it over Wi-Fi and charge your phone if necessary. The changelog is the same as on other phones - dark mode, new gesture navigation, smart reply and better privacy and location controls. This update bumps the security...
