Announced back in February this year and launched in the month of April, YouTube TV is currently only available in a handful of markets in the US, including Chicago, LA, NYC, Philadelphia, and the San Francisco Bay Area. However, that's soon going to change, as Google has now announced that the service will be available in more markets in near future. Specifically, the Mountain View, California based company said the service will be available in 10 more markets in the next couple of weeks. These include Dallas-Fort Worth, Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit,...

Check out the new iOS 11 screenshot interface in action
One of the major improvements in iOS 11 that didn't get a mention during the keynote is the updated interface for screenshots. Considering how often we take screenshots these days, it's worth taking a look at all the improvements Apple has included in the new version. For starters, every time you take a screenshot it now goes to the bottom of your screen. It sits there for a while for to interact with it or goes away if you don't. You can also swipe it away manually. If you take multiple screenshots, they all stack there in the corner. You can then tap on it to open up the markup...
HTC U11 in Solar Red is now up for pre-order in the UK too
A few days ago HTC started taking pre-orders for the Solar Red color version of the U11 in the US, following some teasers. Today it's the UK's turn. The red U11 is now available for pre-order from HTC's online store for the UK. It's priced at £649 unlocked and SIM-free, just like the other three hues. There is one thing to note if you're looking to pick up a Solar Red HTC U11 in the UK, though - you can only get it with dual-SIM functionality. You can't buy a single-SIM red U11. On the other hand, if you pick silver, black, or blue as the color of your U11, the device is only...
LG V30 is rumored to come with glass back, wireless charging
LG could be announcing the V30 at IFA in Berlin at the end of August, according to a report from a couple of days ago. This corroborated an earlier rumor about the V30 being introduced during that month, and today we find out some more details about it. A well known leakster says a source of his has revealed that the LG V30 will have wireless charging support. That means the device will come with a glass back, unlike any of its predecessors in the V series. On the other hand, the G6 has a glass back too, so this might mean that LG is looking to unify the designs of its two flagship...
Special edition 32GB iPhone 6 to land in Canada on July 5
Earlier this year Apple re-launched the iPhone 6. While the original from 2014 came with either 16, 64, or 128GB of storage, the newly released special edition iPhone 6 sports 32GB of space, making it a much more decent proposition in 2017, from this point of view at least. Keep in mind that it's identical to the original in all other respects. This new iPhone 6 has so far been released in certain Asian territories (including India), Belarus, as well as the UK. And now it's almost ready to be introduced in a new market: Canada. According to a report from the country, Canadian carriers...
Sony Xperia XA1 is now $50 cheaper, yours for $249
The smaller of the two XA series mid-rangers that Sony announced at MWC this February went on sale in the US last month, priced at $299.99 unlocked. Now, however, you can already grab the Sony Xperia XA1 for a lower amount. $50 less, to be exact. Amazon currently has it for only $249, with 32GB of storage and US warranty. You do however need to hurry since there are only a few units left in stock at this price. The Xperia XA1 features a 5-inch 720p touchscreen, a 23 MP main camera, an 8 MP selfie snapper, MediaTek's Helio P20 chipset running things, 3GB of RAM, and a 2,300 mAh battery....
Gmail will stop scanning emails for ad personalization later this year
Some Gmail haters have always claimed that you can't trust Google's email service because it automatically scans the content of your messages in order to personalize the ads it shows you. While this process doesn't involve any humans, a lot of people have been irked by the realization that it is in fact what is going on. Well, today Google has announced that this email scanning will be retired from the free consumer Gmail service "later this year". So what is basically the most controversial thing about Gmail is going away. Oh, the poor haters, what will they choose to focus on afterwards?...
HTC U11 is getting new Edge Sense features, teaser video reveals
You may already know that one of the biggest differentiating features for the U11, at least in HTC's view, is called Edge Sense. This is what allows you to simply squeeze the phone's sides in order to perform certain actions, like launching applications for example. Today the Taiwanese smartphone maker has outed a video that teases an upcoming expansion of the Edge Sense functionality. HTC wants you to know that it's still thinking of ways to improve this aspect of its flagship device. So, in the future you'll be able to squeeze your U11 in order to zoom inside Google Maps and...
Instagram's Favorites will let you share with a specific group of people, currently in testing
Instagram's pace of new feature rollouts isn't showing any signs of slowing down. The Facebook-owned company is now testing a new function that lets you share with only a specific group of people. It is, rather unsurprisingly, called Favorites. This is basically a 'friend list'. But Instagram wants to succeed in making this a thing, where its parent or even Twitter have mostly failed. Instagram will only have one friend list - Favorites. And it is private. That should keep things simple. If you get this feature, you can choose who to share with, regardless of whether you're...
Sony Xperia L1 review: Level one
The Xperia L1 marks Sony's return to the still growing and highly-competitive entry-level market. Putting together a good smartphone for beginners can often turn out to be an even tougher task than designing a flagship. Maybe that's why Sony is retiring its E-series and introducing a new contender in the Xperia L1.
Galaxy Note8 to launch in late September priced at 999, 6GB of RAM and dual camera in tow
One of the highest anticipated devices of this year might be launching later than expected. No, we're not talking about the iPhone 8 this time around, but Samsung's Galaxy Note8. A new report from Evan Blass (a.k.a @evleaks) claims the handset will only be unveiled in the second half of September, contradicting earlier rumors that talked about a late August intro. According to "an individual briefed on the company's plans", the Note8 will be Samsung's most expensive smartphone yet, retailing for 999 unlocked in the Eurozone. Since the initial prices of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ started at...
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active shows up on GFXBench
We've already reported the Galaxy S8 Active appearing on Geekbench. Now another listing, this time on GFXBench, reveals some more info about the more rugged version of Samsung's latest flagship. The phone reports a 5.4" screen with 2008 x 1080 resolution. Those both sound a little off though - the second seems a result of the phone's built-in downscaling feature, while the display size is often wrongly listed on GFXBench scorecards. The listing confirms the Galaxy S8 Active will run on Snapdragon 835 with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. The RAM will be 4 GB and the internal...

The Xiaomi Mi Max is getting Android 7.0 via an over the air update that tags along the May security patch. The update is so far only appearing on models with 3GB of RAM (no word on the 4GB/128GB Prime model, but it shouldn't take much longer) and is based on the global MIUI 8.5.1.0 stable ROM. Xiaomi Mi Max update Xiaomi's largest screened phone got a refresh in the form of the Mi Max 2 last month but is still very relevant with 3GB of RAM and a 4K capable camera. Thanks, Emmanouil, for the tip! Source | Via
YouTube introduces VR180, immersive VR video on a budget
YouTube has announced a new format for VR videos called VR180 made in collaboration with Google's Daydream team. This has been designed to make it easy for content creators to create immersive 3D and VR experiences. Unlike 360 degree video, VR180 only has 180 degree field of view. Users can wear VR glasses to look around while facing forward but you can't look back for additional field of view, which for most purposes wound't be a problem. If you wear VR glasses, you can also experience the video n 3D. If you choose not to wear glasses, the VR180 video appears just like a regular 2D...

Gold OnePlus 5 swings by TENAA, we hold our breath
You probably have heard something about a device named OnePlus 5 being released in the past few days. It comes in Midnight Black and Slate Gray, but according to a TENAA listing, the phone will also have a Gold color option. Having a OnePlus 5 in Gold shouldn't be a surprise since this color option isn't new for a OnePlus device. The OnePlus 3T was offered in Soft Gold, and the OnePlus X had a Champagne option. OnePlus is also known to have a policy of announcing color options along the product life of its smartphones. Back at the beginning of 2017, the OnePlus 3T Midnight...
Meizu Pro 7 prototype leak confirms the secondary screen rumor
We've already shown you the alleged back panel of the Meizu Pro 7 and now a prototype appeared, confirming the rumor. The device is called Prototype 8 and has a rectangular screen on the left side of the back panel, right below the camera setup. The images reveal the alleged back design of the phone. We see the dual cameras are positioned slightly lower than usual, probably to fit the cutout for the secondary screen. According to sources, Meizu Pro 7 will have a glass build for that to work. We are yet to hear from Meizu more about specs of the new phone, but a code leak from...
