iOS has had widget support for nearly three years now and Google has had the Calendar app on iOS for even longer. You'd think that in all this time Google would have made a widget for the app but you'd be wrong. Well, not anymore. In the latest update of the app, Google has finally added support for widgets. You can now add the Calendar widget and it will show you the first few entries in your calendar and you can tap Show More to see the full size widget with more entries. Alternatively, you can also 3D touch the Google Calendar icon on select iPhones and get the new...

Meizu Pro 7 stars in a new live shot, a detailed 3D render and is already up for pre-order in China
The rumor mill has really taken a liking to the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus. We definitely get the hype, the phone appears to feature an interesting take on the second display concept, as well as a true flagship-grade specs sheet, including MediaTek's new Helio X30 chipset. Going through the latest Meizu Pro 7 news in no particular order - first up, we have a new live shot of the device with a black finish. While we already suspected Black would be among the color options, most leaks so far have featured the device in gold or red. The all dark paint job definitely suits the handset...
MediaTek just basically confirmed the Meizu Pro 7 will use its X30 chipset
MediaTek just shared its official revenue figures for June. The sum totals CNY 21.894 billion, up from CNY 18.37 billion in May. There are a few more numbers figures to potentially quote, but the report contains something arguably more interesting and exciting from a user perspective. The document contains a few references to Meizu and MediaTek's Helio X30 chipset, which will release in the second half of 2017. This falls in line great with previous leaks that suggest the Meizu Pro 7 will run on the X30 chip and actually be the first device to do so. Meizu Pro 7 secondary...
Latest Windows 10 Preview build finally takes steps to fix high DPI scaling issues
If you've ever used Windows on a higher DPI display and some older Win32 apps in particular, then you can definitely relate to the issue of proper scaling. Since the company's own crisp-display Surface product are not immune to such issues either, it only makes sense for the US giant to start tackling it one way or another. Well, the old Redmond giant sure took its time on this one and the approach is definitely an "alternative" one, but the new Windows 10 Build 16237, currently seeding to Windows Insider users finally shows some progress. What Microsoft did in this version is...
SM-G9298 flip phone manual pops up on Samsung's website
If you are as bored as we are with the stagnant and repetitive "slab" smartphone design of the day, then you might just appreciate Samsung's ongoing perseverance with clamshell phones. Yes, the flip form factor is alive and well, but sadly, mostly limited to China. As of late, Samsung has primarily been pushing models in its Wxxxx series, like the W2017. This year, however, we have been hearing a lot about a successor to the G9098 and G9198, unsurprisingly called the G9298. After stopping by at TENAA, as well as the FCC and the Wi-Fi Alliance, we are already pretty familiar with...

Huawei just trademarked the P20 moniker
A new trademark was spotted in the wild today - one for the Huawei P20 moniker. The company's intentions to keep the "P" family going with at least one more model is far from a surprise. However, the P10 was unveiled only a few short months ago and this step does appear a bit suspicious in its early timing. The leak has prompted a wave of potentially credible (to various extents) sources on Weibo to speculate that the phone might make it in time for the holidays and land in Q4 this year. These describe the P20 as a rather small improvement on the Huawei P10 Plus, running on the...
