As we were told last year, Twitter has finally pulled the plug on Vine. But the app continues to live on, in a way. Unlocked Windows 10-powered alcatel Idol 4S now available in US
The alcatel Idol 4S with Windows 10 and VR was launched in the US back in November this year. However, it has only been available through T-Mobile (network locked) so far. That's changing today as Microsoft has now started selling the unlocked variant of the handset. The Redmond company has the phone listed on its online US store for $470, which is same as what the magenta carrier is currently asking for the device. Source
Xiaomi Mix Evo with Snapdragon 835 SoC and 4GB RAM spotted on Geekbench
A new Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website. Dubbed Mix Evo, the device is powered by Qualcomm's MSM8998 (Snapdragon 835) chipset and has 4GB RAM. The listing reveals that the handset runs Android Marshmallow version 6.0.1. Sadly, nothing else is currently known about the device, but given the name, it might be a variant of the Mi Mix. Also, the SoC confirms it's a high end phone. Now that the phone has appeared in benchmarks, we expect to hear more about it in days (or probably weeks) to come. Source | Via
