The images of the LG V60 ThinQ that leaked earlier this month revealed a few of its specifications. Now the smartphone has appeared in an official-looking render, giving us our best look at it. CR: Chinese market accounted for nearly half of all 5G smartphones sales in 2019

According to the latest report from Counterpoint Research China accounted for 48% of all 5G smartphone shipments in 2019. Huawei (including Honor) captured 74% of 5G smartphone sales in China while Samsung was the global leader with a 40% market share. OmniVision unveils 64MP 1/1.7" image sensor with 8K video support

OmniVision unveiled its first 64MP image sensor, the OV64C. It's a 1/1.7" sensor, as large as the Sony IMX686 and Samsung ISOCELL GW1, two competing 64MP sensors. This size and resolution means that individual pixels measure 0.8µm. This is a Quad Bayer sensor (or, 4-cell color filter array, as OmniVision calls it), so it can output 16MP images with effective 1.6µm pixels. Sony has started a process of folding Sony Mobile into the main company. The Swedish arm of the mobile division was merged with Sony Nordic, now the company has shut down the SonyMobile.com domain, redirecting users to Sony.com instead.
